Lynne Robinson is teaching a workshop at The Art Studio located in the Absalom Jones Community Center.

This Advanced Workshop is called “Alcohol Inks Gone Wild”

Three 1½-hour classes. Inking on glass is a totally different experience from inking on tiles or paper. The color moves differently, white becomes your friend, and the metallics sparkle and shine revealing the magic in your work. Additional $30 material fee due to instructor for basic starter kits or bring own materials in lieu of material fee. Ages 16+ Weekly topics: 5/11 – Introduction to inking glass (bring a dollar store small picture frame with glass or something bigger you have from home) 5/18 – Adding extra touches like metallics and texture 5/25 – Completing a piece ready for framing (bring a 4’x6’ to 8’x10” frame with glass removed but intact).
